Deuteronomy 30:15-16,19
See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, as well as death and distress.
For I am commanding you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in my ways,
and to keep my commandments, statutes, and ordinances,
so that you may live and increase, and the LORD your God may bless you
in the land that you are entering to possess....
I call heaven and earth as witnesses:
I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing.
Therefore choose life, so that you and your descendants may live.
